Wholesale Carcasses for Butchers
The Blackmore vale butchery are proud to announce that we have teamed up with several local farms for the supply of local beef , Lamb and Pork in carcass form.
We can supply and deliver half or whole beef bodies , whole lambs and whole pigs
All our free range, grass fed, traditionally reared cattle are born and raised within a 30 mile radius of the Blackmore Vale Butchery. During their life they are allowed to roam freely and graze naturally on grass,the meat is well marbled and full flavoured and produced with minimal food miles.
Breeds available are Dexter / Aberdeen Angus / Hereford / Ruby red Devons / ShortHorn
Weight ranges 120kg through to 350kg
Grades O+3L and above

We have teamed up with a Local producer of Free range outdoor reared pigs which are now ready to wholesale to the high street butcher / farm shops etc , The Farmer won champion pig prize at both Frome and Sedgemoor markets at christmas 2011 & 2012. You won't find better pigs in the SouthWest then these they are true quality and testament to the farmers dedication to produce the finest pork in the South. The pork can be sold under the red tractor scheme and can be delivered whole or split depending on your preferred choice .
Weight ranges are from 50kg through to 80kg plus
Price set for Winter / Spring 2013 £2.40 pkg delivered Locally or Delivery charge may be applied to cover fuel costs

The Blackmore vale butchery have an ongoing working relationship with a very hard working sheep farmer who produces some of the finest lambs in the SouthWest. Our regular supply is from Stavordale Stud Farm , they are farm assured suffolk Mules and reared only 5 miles from our shop door.
